I would like an option in the “Trigger” and “Wait for” selector within the automation builder to be able to choose a date field.
For example…
Trigger = “Birthday” (date field)
Now I can start an automation on their birthday.
Another example…
Wait for = “Start date” (date field)
Now I can start a email course when they choose to start within the form they filled
We definitely need more trigers with custom fields related, or date related. Especialy for birthday campaigns or similar…
Wait for = “Start date” will be great for a lot of uses. For example, people who start a course or event. Super Usefull
urgently need to have a schedule cover too, for example.
Wait for 09:00 A.M
Or maybe add tag if date is “Start date” (date field)
I prefer the “wait until” approach used by ActiveCampaign.
Regardless, please add functionality to “wait until day of week is”, with each day as an option.
That way, you can set up for evergreen campaigns that mimic live launches that start on a Monday, for example.
Please, also add the option to choose when during the day the email will be sent (for instance, wait until August 1st, 10am; or Sunday, 10am
I’m conducting a usability test regarding this request. If you would like to test and review it, you can schedule a meeting here: https://calendly.com/david-maric/ux-research?month=2020-09
@David.maric Hi, David! For what I`ve seen, the new automation date feature only lets us set a new trigger using the date automation, right? However, the most important feature (in my opinion) would be to make it possible to use date automation throughout the automation, and not only at its beginning. For example, wait to send the second automation email on September 15th; then wait until September 25th and send another email at 10am. Will this also be possible for us to do?
It’ll also be helpful if we can have a trigger as Wait for 2 days and send email on 1pm. If someone entered my list at 1am then 2days later i want them to receive the mail during the day
I agree with Bahar, very important.
that’s really important to add specific date as a trigger
